Click here for a video entitled, WE ARE HERE.
We are a Christian Church who believes in Jesus Christ as our Lord and living Savior.
Our mission statement states that...
We are a welcoming, caring community who gather
...PROCLAIM the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
...LEARN God's will,
...MINISTER to all with God's love.
What does this mean?
We are a welcoming, caring community.
We gather at the friendly church at the bend in the road to celebrate God's love for us! We strive to welcome our neighbor, the stranger, the outcast, all who have ears to hear, and who seek the good news! We welcome YOU to this place.
We gather to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord. He died on the cross to claim the victory over sin and death, and was raised up to new life, so that we might claim His victory as our victory.
We proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through:Communion - we believe that Jesus is present in the meal that we share, and in receiving this gift, we receive forgiveness of sins and power to live as children of God. Communion is celebrated every Sunday.Baptism - we believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. As baptism is a gift of God's grace, there is no one too young or too old to receive this gift. Baptisms are celebrated during the regular worship services.Preaching - through the spoken word, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed every SundayMusic - Adult Choirs for morning services, Handbell Choir, Praise Band, Youth Choirs, and Music Leadership Team
We gather to learn God's willForgiven and loved by God, we seek to do God's will in the world today. What is God calling me to do? What is God calling me to be? We believe education is vital to the life of a Christian, for through it, we learn more about God's love, forgiveness, and grace. The more we learn, the more equipped are we to share the message with others.
